I first saw Marilyn at Coleridge nursery, probably in late 1990. My daughter Naomi, who became firm friends with Isobel, was just starting there. I noticed Marilyn among the sea of mothers and children: she looked lively and smiley and was wearing a fluffy mauve jumper. I didn’t become part of the school scene because I returned to work but I enjoyed the parties at Christmas that Marilyn invited is to, always plenty to eat and drink. I remember Marilyn as a warm, positive person, full of life, with many interests. I was very impressed when she started taking saxophone lessons. It was so sad to hear that she had pancreatic cancer.
I am glad you are out of pain Marilyn. You leave behind good memories. Sleep well.
