Wow, we go back almost 40 years. That time flew by. Odd, everyone seemed to get older. But we never did, eh? You were always full of smiles, always providing terrific commonsense advice, always dishing-up cracking food - and always just fabulous company. I always looked forward to seeing you knowing a laser-quizzing was coming about some escapade or other. In later years great visions of you "on the bench" dispensing justice with an awe-inspiring, "you should know better, young man" tone in your voice. In earlier years Stephen and I would take the kids to some north London park and get up to all sorts of nonsense usually accompanied by a muttered, "for God's sake don't tell Marilyn". You always knew or at least suspected. And you were usually right. No, dammit, you were always right. 

You will always be fabulous, Marilyn. And I will always really miss you. Thank you for some wonderful times, some wonderful memories and for being a wonderful friend. I treasure all of this.
